Cat 3!!

It's official. I'm a cat (category) 3 racer!!

What does this mean:

1. Road races will be at least one additional lap
2. I will no longer be racing with newbies (i.e. sketchy racers)
3. Fields will be smaller--at least here in Minnesota (unless we get combined with the 50+ men)
4. I'll have to race with the Women cat 1 and 2's (i.e. the "big" girls)
5. And last but not least: Prizes have just went from water bottles to $$!!

What does this mean for my group rides/training:

1. Just one, I need work by butt off to stick with the guys.

My race goals this year will be simple. To stick with the group as long as I can and to learn how to be more efficient.
